So since it was the end of the season I just put it away. This year I drained and replaced the gas, the air filter and spark plug.Setup a multi-meter to test for continuity. Attach the meter leads to the terminals on the ignition switch. With the control bail left in the off position, the multimeter should show continuity, there should be a circuit through the switch. Pull the control bail to the run position and the multi-meter should show no continuity.
